You were chosen to receive this novena… The moment you receive it, say :

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

GOD WANTED ME TO TELL YOU, It shall be well with you this coming year.

No matter how much your enemies try this year, they will not succeed.

You have been destined to make it and you shall surely achieve all your goals this year.

For the remainder of 2009, all your agonies will be diverted and victory and prosperity will be incoming in abundance. Today God has confirmed the end of your sufferings, sorrows and pain because HE that sits on the throne has remembered you. He has taken away the hardships and given you JOY. He will never let you down..

I knocked at heaven’s door this morning, God asked me… My child! What can I do for you? And I said,

‘Father, please protect and bless the person reading this message…. ‘

The Catholic Church teaches that “According to Scripture, it is the heart that prays. If our heart is far from God, the words of prayer are in vain.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, #2562). It also states that “In the battle of prayer we must confront erroneous conceptions of prayer, various currents of thought, and our own experience of failure. We must respond with humility, trust, and perseverance to these temptations which cast doubt on the usefulness or even the possibility of prayer” (CCC, #2753).
    Therefore if you are a recipient of the above or similar chain novenas, we ask that you do not send them on to others as it will promote these untrue claims.”

  2. I was sent one of these Novenas on my cell phone last night. It had a picture of two babies kissing. i wasn’t quite sure what it was all about, but i did forward it. I wish i wouldn’t have now that i’ve looked it up. I have been far from God for mant years due to many things that have happened in my life. I felt like he had abandoned me. Recently a friend from work said some things to me that made me realize that i was wrong and i have felt different since then. I want to pray again and be heard and i hope that he does hear me and forgive me for being so bitter. Beth Price

  3. Beth, I have been in a similar situation for the last several years. I’ve been rebelling against God for no good reason. I do know this. 1 John 1:9 says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
    We are the ones that get wrong with God, he is always right with us. God always here’s the prayers of those that seek Him. Chris Walker

  4. I also received this chain letter from a relative yesterday and on reading it, felt it was not appropriate for me to forward it to anyone. In fact I am writing a book at the moment and commented on the temptation of sending chain letters for God’s blessing when we are already blessed and in all things, as believers, must pick up our own cross and carry it! I see this as another tool of the enemy to put fear into people’s hearts. Definitely, no circulation should be encouraged.
