A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing

Our helper He amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing

For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe

His craft and power are great but armed with cruel hate

On earth is not his equal

Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing.

Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing.

Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He!

Lord Sabaoth is His name, from age to age the same,

And He must win the battle.

And though this world with devils filled should threaten to undo us.

We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us.

The prince of darkness grim – we tremble not for him,

His rage we can endure, for Lo! his doom is sure,

One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly powers – no thanks to them abides.

The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him who with us sides.

Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also,

The body they may kill; God’s truth abides still,

His kingdom is forever.

If you think you are unhappy, look at them.

If you think your salary is low, how about her?

If you think you don’t have many friends….

When you feel like giving up, think of this man…If you think you suffer in life, do you suffer as much as he does?

If you complain about your transport system, how about them?

If your society is unfair to you, how about her?

See all the pics in the slideshow, and answer the above questions…

Enjoy life how it is and as it comes. Things are worse for others and is a lot better for us. There are many things in your life that will catch your eye but only a few will catch your heart….pursue those…

Are you still complaining?

Observe around You and be thankful for all that you have in this transitory lifetime…

We are fortunate, we have much more than what we need to be content.

Lets try not to feed this endless cycle of consumerism and immorality in which this “modern and advanced” society forgets and ignores the other two thirds of our brothers and sisters.

A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. Rich and poor have this in common: The LORD is the Maker of them all.

The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. He who sows wickedness reaps trouble, and the rod of his fury will be destroyed.  A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.

Do not exploit the poor because they are poor and do not crush the needy in court, for the LORD will take up their case and will plunder those who plunder them

Definition of the Poor:
Someone who is struggling to meet the minimum needs of life: Food, clothing, health care, and shelter.
Webster: Having little or no money, goods, or other means of support.

“Does this include everyone who makes a request for help?”
“Am I obligated to help everyone who squanders their opportunities or mismanages their life?”

True Poverty:-
Third World People

Long life and limited resources can make a person needy.
Poor health can make us needy.

Right Attitudes Toward the Poor:-
