Abortion - The Mass Murderer of this age

The above video clip is about the greatest evil, widespread now - Abortion.

“Your eyes beheld my unformed substance” (Psalms 139:16): the unspeakable crime of abortion.

“Whatever is opposed to life itself, such as any type of murder, genocide, abortion, euthanasia, or willful self-destruction, whatever violates the integrity of the human person, such as mutilation, torments inflicted on body or mind, attempts to coerce the will itself; whatever insults human dignity, such as subhuman living conditions, arbitrary imprisonment, deportation, slavery, prostitution, the selling of women and children; as well as disgraceful working conditions, where people are treated as mere instruments of gain rather than as free and responsible persons; all these things and others like them are infamies indeed. They poison human society, and they do more harm to those who practise them than to those who suffer from the injury. Moreover, they are a supreme dishonor to the Creator”. - Evangelium Vitae, John Paul 2

The Lord Had A Wonderful Life Prepared For This Soul. Now He/She Is Back In Heaven, Wondering… “Why Did My Mother Kill Me? Didn’t She Love Me?”

Abortion Facts:-

* Pain receptors begin to appear in the seventh week of pregnancy.
* The heartbeat begins on the 21st day after conception.
* Approximately 46 million abortions are performed globally each year.
* Of these, 26 million are said to occur in places where abortion is legal; the other 20 million happen where it is illegal.
* Approximately 26% of pregencies are aborted.

Methods Used:-

Dilation & Curettage (D&C): Dilation and curettage is a surgical abortion procedure performed during the first 12 to 15 weeks gestation. Dilation and curettage is similar to suction aspiration with the introduction of a curette. A curette is a long, looped shaped knife that scrapes the lining, placenta and fetus away from the uterus. A cannula may be inserted for a final suctioning. This procedure usually lasts 10 minutes with a possible stay of 5 hours.

Copper-T:- TUDs work chiefly by preventing sperm and egg from meeting. Perhaps the IUD makes it hard for sperm to move through the woman’s reproductive tract, and it reduces the ability of sperm to fertilize an egg. Possibly could prevent egg from implanting in wall of uterus. So it prevent the egg from attaching to the uterus wall. So here the fertilization has taken place and baby is alive but as it cant attach to the uterus wall, it gets destroyed. So a woman with Copper T kills children whenever she has an intercourse.

Do you think, in any way, we can justify these murders? NO WAY, rt? They also have the right to live.

Sins in general

Let us discuss on d topic ‘SINS’ with references from The Bible.

“When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.” - James 1:13-15

“He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.” - 1 John 3:8

DEVIL + EVIL DESIRE = SIN

“But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.” - Isaiah 59:2

And what do You think, is God complaining about our sins?

“Hear, O heavens! Listen, O earth! For the LORD has spoken: “I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me. The ox knows his master, the donkey his owner’s manger, but Israel does not know, my people do not understand.” - Isaiah 1:2-3

“My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water.” - Jeremiah 2:13

See how our sins bring tears to Abba, Our Heavenly Father! Does all these mean nothing to us?

How great is God’s love? - How to repay?

How great is his love

Have you ever thought about the great love of our mighty God? Let us discuss on the great love of our Creator.

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all- how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” - Romans 8:32

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” - 1 John 4:8-10

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16

So from the above verses, we are aware of the great love of Him for us. How we can show our Love to Him?

“This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” - 1 John 5:3-5

“We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.” - 1 John 4:19-21

“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” - Luke 6:36

“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” - Matthew 7:12

“And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” - Matthew 5:47-48

“The entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” - Galatians 5:14

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” - Matthew 6:14

From all these, we see that we should love each other just as God loved us for in loving them we are actually loving Him. Do good things to all. Never harm or cheat anyone. When you do all these, you are thanking God for the abundant love He has shown.

History & Administration

Ernakulam Madhyastha Prarthana Group, consisting about 20 families registered a charitable society named Snehasusrushalayam in 1993 and setup a small prayer centre in a thatched shed in Chittoor. Priests and preachers of the Divine Retreat Centre helped to conduct prayer meetings on Saturdays. The attendance increased very soon and the shed was enlarged with public donations. By 1995, the society found it difficult to carry on with the programmes and requested the Archdiocese of Ernakulam to take over the centre. The by-laws were amended and the Society was reconstituted with the Director of the centre, appointed by the Archbishop as President.Holy Mass was celebrated for the first time on 23-06-1995 and residential retreats were started in 1997.

Lyrics:-

God is good, we sing and shout it.
God is good, we celebrate.
God is good, no more we doubt it.
God is good, we know it’s true.
And when I think of His love for me,
My heart fills with praise
And I feel like dancing.
For in His heart there is room for me,
And I run with arms opened wide.

Where shall I build my house
On sure foundation (2)
Chosen and precious corner stone
You are the rock of my salvation
O let the Lord build His house
That we may not work in vain
And let us put our trust in Him
That we may not be put to shame.
