The eve of a new year is often a great time to reflect, to rejoice over the progress of the past year while also learning from the setbacks and mistakes. Then it’s time to look forward. What would you like to accomplish? What would you like to change?

One key to succeeding in the new year is to plan ahead but not worry ahead. “Don’t worry” may seem easier said than done, particularly if you are facing an uncertain future with health, financial, or personal problems. This is why planning alone is not enough.

Peace of mind comes from putting your future in God’s hands and trusting Him to work things out. If you not only make plans, but also commit those plans to Him, He promises to help bring your plans to fruition.

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass” (Psalm 37:5). Of course, this is provided your plans are within the scope of what He knows is best for you and others involved, so the first step is to check your plans with Him—or better yet, get your plans from Him.

Take a few quiet minutes to open your mind to God, and He will put His thoughts there. He loves you and has your best interests at heart, so ask Him to help you set goals and lay plans, and He will.

You just might find that His ideas are far better than your own. He says, “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3). And with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

Do what you can by asking God for direction as you plan and prepare for the year ahead, and commit your needs to Him in prayer. Then continue to seek His help throughout the year, and watch Him guide, provide, and take care of you!

New Year Prayer:-

Dear Jesus, I don’t know what the future holds for me, but I put that future in Your hands. Thank You for the many promises You have given that encourage me to trust You (Psalm 37:3; 73:28; Proverbs 29:25). Help me to have faith as I begin this new year, to be fully persuaded that what You have promised, You will also perform (Romans 4:21). No matter what life has in store, may I stay close to You and draw comfort from the knowledge that nothing can separate me from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). May I walk in truth (3 John 4), in love (Ephesians 5:2), in wisdom (Colossians 4:5), and most of all with You. Amen.

JY Jubilee Theme Song by Rexband

JY Jubilee Theme Song – Rexband

Play the Jesus Youth Jubilee theme song ‘We hear the sound of a multitude rising’

Lyrics:-

We hear the sound of a multitude rising
Deep down within there’s a new song arising
The time is now
Sing out your joy
Renewed in the Spirit we’re breaking all borders
Refined in the fire we’re reaching out higher
The time is now
Sing out your joy

We sing together
Jesus is King
Our sole life giver
To you we cling
Come reign forever
Praises we bring
And sing for Joy
Radiant in love

We are the people, anointed and chosen (Jubilee…)
We are the prophets, a new generation
A righteous and holy nation sounding his praise
(Forever and ever and ever He reigns on high…)
He is the maker the Lord of creation (Jubilee…)
His resurrection is our celebration
And now filled with his power and grace
Refined, Renewed, In Him
Shine Out!

Out of the formless you fashioned creation
And out of the void you have made us a nation
The time is now
Sing out your Joy
Down through the valleys of sorrow and darkness
You journey beside us and lead us to brightness
The time is now
Sing out your Joy

We sing together
Jesus is King
Our sole life giver
To you we cling
Come reign forever
Praises we bring
And sing for Joy
Radiant in love

We are the people, anointed and chosen (Jubilee…)
We are the prophets, a new generation
A righteous and holy nation sounding his praise
(Forever and ever and ever He reigns on high…)
He is the maker the Lord of creation (Jubilee…)
His resurrection is our celebration
And now filled with his power and grace
Refined, Renewed, In Him
Shine Out!

ohohOh oooooohohoho…
ohohOh oooooohohoho…

We sing together
Jesus is King
Our sole life giver
To you we cling
Come reign forever
Praises we bring
And sing for Joy
Radiant in love

We are the people, anointed and chosen (Jubilee…)
We are the prophets, a new generation
A righteous and holy nation sounding his praise
(Forever and ever and ever He reigns on high…)
He is the maker the Lord of creation (Jubilee…)
His resurrection is our celebration
And now filled with his power and grace
Refined, Renewed, In Him
Shine Out!

ohohOh oooooohohoho…
ohohOh oooooohohoho…
Jesus is GOD.
