There may be times when you wondered how the entire universe came into existence. In Hebrew 11:3 we read, “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visibleâ€.
Plainly speaking, the universe was formed out of nothing! This goes well with Genesis 1:2,3 which says, “Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,†and there was lightâ€.
So our God is a God who can create something out of nothing. If you are facing a situation where you feel everything is dead and gone or nothing is going to work, let me encourage you – God can!
He is a Specialist in forming beauty out of ashes. He says in Isaiah, “I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wastelandâ€. Where you don’t find a solution, He gives you a solution!
Quit speaking negative words. Speak God’s Word over your situations just like God spoke to the empty, formless earth. And the Holy Spirit will create something beautifully new out of that word you speak!
