What is Love? Can you define it? Well, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a defines Love here…

Love is patient
Love is kind
It does not envy
It does not boast
It is not proud
It is not rude
It is not self-seeking
It is not easily angered
It keeps no record of wrongs
It does not delight in evil
It rejoices with the truth
It always protects
It always trusts
It always hopes
It always perseveres
Love NEVER FAILS

This is the correct meaning and attributes of Love as given in the Bible – (1 Corinthians 13:4-8a)

When our species was created God informed His Word that He would receive a bride who would love Him. Thus as men and women we have been endowed at all levels with the capacity for love and the need of being loved. This constitutional aspect of our being, the desire for love, implies that we can only grow through love and loving. Thus as human beings it is love which ensures our development, our blossoming, our fullness and completion. Love and love alone fulfils us and the concept ‘Bride’ points towards love and union ; a mutual living and receiving of love in love. Of course Mary the Mother of The Word made man Our Lord Jesus is Our Lady of Love.
