One Last Christmas by Matthew West

Watch the above music video One Last Christmas by Matthew West. Its so touching!

Dax Ryan Locke’s story

Dax Ryan Locke was born to Austin and Julie Locke on June 26th, 2007. At the age of 13 months Dax was diagnosed with AML M7 Leukemia. He was life-flighted to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital where he underwent two bone marrow transplants. Both of his parents were able to give their bone marrow to him. Since his disease was so rare Dax’s treatments were not certain.

Dax lost his battle with cancer at the age of 2. The doctors told us they didn’t think he would live till Christmas. Dax passed away on December 30th 2009. During his short life Dax touched many hearts. The town of Washington, Illinois put up their Christmas light early for Dax and many other people around the world joined in.

Dax’s parents were so touched by their experience with St. Jude they decided to raise $1.6 million dollars for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. That is how much it cost to run the hospital for 1 day! St. Jude doesn’t turn anyone away. Not one patient will ever see a bill. They take care of the patients 100% and help the families as well.

In honor of Dax we have started his own foundation to help raise money for St. Jude and the the families of St. Jude. It’s named, “Cherish Every Moment-The Dax Locke Foundation”. We are proud to begin our journey in supporting this cause. So far Dax has raised almost a quarter of million dollars! Help us help the other children and their families of St. Jude.

From singer Matthew West

Hi Friends! I need you to help in a tremendous way this Christmas. It is on my heart to join forces with the Locke family, and help them in their cause. This is the video my new Christmas song – “One Last Christmas.” This song is inspired by the true story of the Locke family and their son Dax who was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia at just 13 months old.

The doctors then told his parents that Dax would most likely not make it to see Christmas. Dax did lose his battle with Leukemia, but not before he got to see one last Christmas. Today, this little boy’s legacy lives on. I would like to encourage you to join us in raising money that will go to an amazing cause in St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital that cares for so many children each year.

To donate now to St. Jude’s in memory of Dax please visit the link below. Together, we can reach this goal — and fund St. Jude’s for an entire day in Dax Locke’s memory!

Rexband Video : Hallelujah Praise The Lord

Watch the above Rexband video of the Sonrise album song ‘Hallelujah Praise The Lord’ performed on stage by Rexband.

The best thing about the above video clip is that Rexband has also included the Lyrics of the song in this video clip. Hallelujah Praise The Lord song is my favorite from their album Sonrise. Many other songs from the Sonrise album are too good and I would recommend Sonrise album to anyone.

I hope this Jesus Youth music band – Rexband is well known to all of you. To know more about Rexband, please goto Rexband Details page.

Video : Christmas Don’t Be Late – Alvin & The Chipmunks

Music Video of  Christmas Don’t Be Late by  Alvin & the Chipmunks is given above.

Download Video Here

Alvin and the Chipmunks is an animated music group created by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. in 1958. The group consists of three singing animated chipmunks: Alvin, the mischievous troublemaker, who quickly became the star of the group; Simon, the tall, bespectacled intellectual; and Theodore, the chubby, impressionable sweetheart.

The trio is managed by their human father and confidant, David Seville. In reality, David Seville was Bagdasarian’s stage name, and the Chipmunks themselves are named after the executives of their original record label, Liberty Records: Alvin Bennett (the president), Simon Waronker (the founder and owner), and Theodore Keep (the chief engineer).

The Chipmunk Song :-

The Chipmunks first officially appeared on the scene in a novelty record released in late fall 1958 by Bagdasarian. The song, originally listed on the record label (Liberty F-55168) as “The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don’t Be Late),” featured the singing skills of the chipmunk trio. One phrase in the chorus has Alvin wishing for a hula hoop, which was that year’s hot new toy. The novelty record was highly successful, selling more than 4 million copies in seven weeks, and it launched the careers of its chipmunk stars.

It spent four weeks at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart from December 22, 1958 to January 12, 1959. It also earned three Grammy Awards and a nomination for Record of the Year. At the height of its popularity, Bagdasarian and 3 chipmunk hand-puppets appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show, lip-synching the song. “The Chipmunk Song” appeared on the Chipmunks’ debut album, Let’s All Sing with the Chipmunks, in 1959, and was repeated on Christmas with the Chipmunks, released in 1962. The song also has been included on several compilation albums.

Lyrics:-

All right you Chipmunks! Ready to sing your song?
-I’ll say we are!
-Yeah!
-Let’s sing it now!
Okay, Simon?
-Okay!
Okay, Theodore?
-Okay!
Okay, Alvin? Alvin? ALVIN!
-OKAY!!!)

Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for toys and time for cheer
We’ve been good, but we can’t last
Hurry Christmas, hurry fast
Want a plane that loops the loop
Me, I want a hula hoop
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas, don’t be late.

Okay fellas get ready
That was very good, Simon.
-Naturally.
Very good Theodore.
-Ahhh.
Ah, Alvin, you were a little flat, watch it.
Ah, Alvin. Alvin. ALVIN!
-OKAY.

Want a plane that loops the loop
I still want a hula hoop
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas, don’t be late.
We can hardly stand the wait
Please Christmas, don’t be late.

Very good, boys
-Lets sing it again! Yeah, lets sing it again!
No, That’s enough, lets not overdo it
-What do you mean overdo it?
-We want to sing it again!
Now wait a minute, boys
-Why can’t we sing it again?
-[chipmunk chatter]
Alvin, cut that out..Theodore, just a minute.
Simon will you cut that out? Boys…
