Prayers To Holy Spirit

Prayers To Holy Spirit

Holy Spirit Prayer 1

Holy Spirit, you who make me see everything and show me the way to reach my ideals. You who give me the divine gift to forgive and forget all that is done to me. You who are in all the instincts of my life. I, in this short dialogue want to thank you for everything and affirm once more that I never want to be separated from you no matter how great the material desires. To that end and submitting to God’s will, I ask from you (whatever your request is).

Say this prayer for 3 days. After the third day the request will be granted, no matter how difficult. Promise to publish the entire dialogue is a condition for granting your request.

Holy Spirit Prayer 2

Holy Spirit, you who solve all problems, who lights all roads so that I can attain my goal. You who give me the divine gift to forgive and forget all evil against me and that in all instances of my life you are with me. I want this short prayer to thank you for all instances of my life you are with me. I want this short prayer to thank you for your mercy toward me and mine.

While mentioning your request, you must promise to either publish this prayer or to circulate the favor. Say this prayer for 3 consecutive days. After the 3rd day, the request will be granted, no matter how difficult it may be.

Holy Spirit Prayer 3

Breath into me Holy Spirit,
that my thoughts may all be holy.
Move in me, Holy Spirit,
that my work too, may be holy.
Attract my heart, Holy Spirit,
that I may love only what is holy.
Strengthen me, Holy Spirit,
that I may defend all that is holy.
Protect me, Holy Spirit,
that I always may be holy

Holy Spirit Prayer 4

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. Let us pray: O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant that, by the gift of the same Spirit, we may be always truly wise, and ever rejoice in His consolation. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Holy Spirit Prayer 5

Spirit of wisdom and understanding, enlighten our minds to perceive the mysteries of the universe in relation to eternity. Spirit of right judgment and courage, guide us and make us firm in our baptismal decision to follow Jesus’ way of love. Spirit of knowledge and reverence, help us to see the lasting value of justice and mercy in our everyday dealings with one another. May we respect life as we work to solve problems of family and nation, economy and ecology. Spirit of God, spark our faith, hope and love into new action each day. Fill our lives with wonder and awe in your presence which penetrates all creation. Amen.

How To Pray The Perfect Prayer

How to pray the perfect prayer

Be not worried of anything worldly, so we could easily affirm that we are detached.

We should not be much concerned about tangible devotion, the experience of sweetness or tears, but rather that we should be mentally united with God within ourselves by a good will in our intellect. For, what pleases God above everything is a mind free from imaginations, that is images, ideas and the representations of created things. It befits a one to be indifferent to everything created so that he can turn easily and barely to God alone within himself, be empty for Him and cleave to Him.

For this reason deny yourself so that you can follow Christ, the Lord your God, in nakedness, who was himself poor, obedient, chaste, humble and suffering, and in whose life and death many were scandalised, as is clear from the Gospel accounts.

After all, a soul which is separated from the body pays no attention to what is done to its abandoned body – whether it is burned, hanged, or reviled, and is in no way saddened by the afflictions imposed on the body, but thinks only of the Now of eternity and the One Thing which the Lord calls necessary in the Gospel. So you too should treat your body as if you were no longer in the body, but think always of the eternity of your soul in God, and direct your thoughts carefully to that One Thing of which Christ said, For one thing is necessary (Luke 10.42). You will experience because of it great grace, helping you towards the acquisition of nakedness of mind and simplicity of heart.

Indeed this One thing is very much present with you if you have made yourself bare of imaginations and all other entanglements, and you will soon experience that this is so – namely when you can be empty and cleave to God with a naked and resolute mind. In this way you will remain unconquered in whatever may be inflicted on you, like the holy martyrs, fathers, the elect, and indeed all the saints who despised everything and only thought of their souls’ security and eternity in God.

Consider from this how much a good will united with God is capable of, when by means of its pressing towards God the soul is effectively separated the body in spirit and looks on its outward man as it were from a distance, and as not belonging to it.

In this way it despises everything that is inflicted on itself or on its flesh as if they were happening to someone else, or not to a human being at all. For he that is united with the Lord is one Spirit, (1 Corinthians 6.17) that is with Him.

So you should never dare to think or imagine anything before the Lord your God that you would blush to be heard or seen in before men, since your respect for God should be even greater than for them.

World Prayer Assembly

World Prayer Assembly

World Prayer Assembly May 14-18, 2012 Jakarta, Indonesia

We invite you  the World Prayer Assembly, a once-in-a generation encounter with the Lord, with cutting-edge ministry leaders and praying people from around the world. Reserve a place for yourself, your friends, colleagues and family members who would like to come.

The Venue for World Prayer Assembly (WPA 2012)

The World Prayer Assembly (May 14-18, 2012) is taking place in the midst of a modern-day spiritual awakening in the nation of Indonesia. Millions of Indonesians are now connected in prayer for their nation. 24/7 “prayer towers” are operating in many cities, and over two-hundred thousand trained child intercessors are crying out to God for the transformation of their nation. The Lord is moving in this vast archipelago of 17,000 islands with many diverse people groups. The Church has united in an extraordinary way, creating an environment for spiritual and societal transformation that is spreading across the region.

Thousands of prayer, mission and marketplace leaders, along with on-fire youth and children, will gather in Jakarta to seek the Lord together in a new paradigm for an international congress. Like the five leaders at Antioch (Acts 13:1-3), we want to “let God be God” and seek Him together for His strategies of “prayer-action” for our hurting world. It was the first International Prayer Assembly, almost 30 years ago in Seoul, Korea, in 1984 where the seeds for the current global prayer movement were sown. Korea will serve as the co-host with Indonesia for the WPA.

World Prayer Assembly Programs

Special track sessions will create a forum for participants to focus on international issues, cutting-edge models of ministry, and ministry spheres (“7 Mountains”) for which they have a passion. And, while there will be world-renowned speakers, presenters and facilitators for both plenary and track sessions (such as David Yonggi Cho, Enoch Adeboye, Lee Younghoon, Luis Bush, Dick Eastman, Suzette Hattingh, Ed Silvoso, Graham Power, Brian Mills, Ian Cole, Pete Greig, Niko Nyotorahardjo, Iman Santoso, Gloria Au Yeung, Bennie Mostert and many others), we want to hear from one Personality primarily, the Lord Himself. All speakers will, therefore, share briefly and in a way that facilitates our time of encounter with God and one another.

The WPA will be led inter-generationally with youth and children helping to facilitate plenary and other sessions. There will also be strong youth and children tracks. This will help launch the next generation of men and women of God to lead the prayer and mission movements. We want to see modern Josephs, Esthers, Daniels, and Deborahs raised up so that God will use to impact the nations.

Then, on May 17, we will gather in the national stadium with 100,000 others, including 20,000 children intercessors and 20,000 on-fire youth. Over 350 cities of Indonesia will host simultaneous gatherings, connected by live television with the Jakarta stadium. Tens of millions more will join us across the world by satellite TV and Internet streaming. As one of the largest prayer meetings in history, it has the potential to change our planet in fundamental ways.

We believe the WPA will be a stepping stone to the fulfillment of the ancient prophet’s prediction that “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14). It will also be a direct answer of Jesus’ prayer in John 17 as Christ’s people unite in prayer around the world.

Please pray for the World Prayer Assembly and join us in Jakarta for this unique time in the presence of the Lord as His people gather from around the world. If there are others in your ministry network that you feel should be with us, feel free to share this letter of invitation with them.

Prayer for WPA

“Through WPA the spirit to love the nation and the country can be re-ignited in a way to birth a generation who loves the nation, the country and God.”
