Mother Teresa Poem : Life

Mother Teresa Poem Life

Mother Teresa wrote this poem : LIFE

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.

Life is beauty, admire it.

Life is bliss, taste it.

Life is a dream, realize it.

Life is a challenge, meet it.

Life is a duty, complete it.

Life is a game, play it.

Life is costly, care for it.

Life is wealth, keep it.

Life is love, enjoy it.

Life is mystery, know it.

Life is a promise, fulfill it.

Life is sorrow, overcome it.

Life is a song, sing it.

Life is a struggle, accept it.

Life is tragedy, confront it.

Life is an adventure, dare it.

Life is luck, make it.

Life is too precious, do not destroy it.

Life is life, fight for it.

  1. Though this and the other poem you have attributed to Blessed Theresa of Calcutta are very nice, please note that they were not written by her. – refer to the website of the Sisters of Calcutta http://www.motherteresa.org/08_info/Quotesf.html for further clarification and information.
Thanks much for other information on your site. I realise it is not always easy to know whether things are authentic or not, or where to check them, but I thought I would just clear this one since the Sisters are trying to correct misinformation.
    Thank you
    God bless you

  2. Just wanted to share my video for the song, ONE LOVE.

all of her wonderful acts of love….

  3. Dear Sir/Ma’am:

Hi, I am Ivory C. Sioson from the Philippines and I am currently writing an English textbook for Grade 6 Filipino students under Rex Publishing Inc. In this regard, I would like to ask permission if I could borrow the poem titled “Life Is by Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta” to be included in our book for our dear grade 6 learners. The said book is set for release next year (2018).

I truly believe that the poem will really inspire our students to learn more and pursue their dreams and aspirations.

I am hoping for your positive response regarding this matter.

    Thank you so much! :-)

    Sincerely,

    Ivory
