Lyrics:-
Our prayers have all been answered
I finally arrived
The healing that had been delayed
Has now been realized
No one’s in a hurry
There’s no schedule to keep
We’re all enjoying Jesus
Just sitting at His feet
If you could see me now
I’m walking streets of gold
If you could see me now
I’m standing tall and whole
If you could see me now
You’d know I’ve seen His face
If you could see me now
You’d know the pain’s erased
You wouldn’t want me
To ever leave this place
You could only see me now
My light and temporary trials
Have worked out for my good
To know it brought Him glory
When I misunderstood
Though we’ve had our sorrows
They can never compare
What Jesus has in store for us
No language can share
If you could see me now
I’m walking streets of gold
If you could see me now
I’m standing tall and whole
If you could see me now
You’d know I’ve seen His face
If you could see me now
You’d know the pain’s erased (2)
You wouldn’t want me
To ever leave this perfect place
You could only see me now
You could see me now
You could only see me now…
One word is incorrect in the above…..
should be…..
No language can share.
It’s an amazing song–love it!
I want this song. Is it on an album by Don Moen? Where can I purchase it? I love it. Sincerely, Marjorie Baldwin
For those searching, this song is not on an album under Don Moen… it is found on an album called “Something To Hold On To”, with the artist labeled as “Truth”… but it IS the Don Moen version playing here on this page. It can be downloaded through both Napster and iTunes. God bless!
This is one of most beautiful songs i have heard. Will use it some day in the future.
Should I die before the rapture, this is the song I would want to be played at my funeral. Absolutly beautiful song.
Thanks for posting “If You Could See Me Now” sung by Don Moen. Please note that in the last line of the second verse the lyrics should state “No language can SHARE.” Thank you! God Bless You.
Kimberly
Played this at my brothers funeral. Makes me feel soo much better! Beautiful!
Just for the record, this is not Don Moen, it’s the group Truth (Russ Lee is singing, as this was the group he originated in).
So, that should help in locating the song.
This song was sang at my Uncle & Aunt’s funeral the past 2 years. Uncle James my Mom’s brother went to be with our Lord 2012 and my Aunt joined him just a little over a year later. I can’t wait until that wonderful day when my family and friends who are awaiting his return will join them there.
