Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?
The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, the eagle sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life come upon us – and all of us will experience them – we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God’s power to lift us above them.
God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure, and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm. Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.
The Bible says : “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” – Isaiah 40:31.
Wow!! This is a really nice blog mate. Do you accept donations?
Georgy,
Are all the things you post here your original works? If not, could you please post the appropriate source for each item, for those who may want to share the poem/song/story.
Thanks.
Hi Tom,
No. These are definitely not mine.
I get these from the forwarded E-Mails from my friends. And I include the author name of any poem/song/story I post, if I can find that info also in that mail. Else I leave the author information field blank, as in those cases I am also not aware of who he/she is.
Hi Harshadewa,
Thanks a lot and Yes, we do accept donation.
Click on the “buy me coffee” button on the right sidebar and transfer funds through your paypal account…thats it!
Hi Georgy
This is awesome! I believe that the Lord is shaking us, his Church in these days, out of our apathy and indifference etc but if we ‘lock our wings’ into that Holy Spirit, thae same Spirit who causes/allows these storms that we go through, we will abide in a high place (Psalm 27:5-6). We will abide in the Almighty and will be safe, while the storms age far below. He will hold us safe in the hollow of his hand. 2 Cor 4:8-9, 16-18 says:
“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed… That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”
Awesome thought! That so strengthens me”
God bless.
Eagles are considered to be the most brilliant and intelligent birds. They have a very strong feeling when something goes wrong.
