In the wooden cabin ,where i live,
the winter has come to stay
with me,in my heart
Cold and dark night
Fireplace gives me no warmth,
and the light of dawn is faraway.

Dead and numb,my body feels
With the deep snow within
and it aches my heart
With my arms around me
I refuse to give myself

From the window,i could see a faint light
i got up and went outside,
That moment i knew something
would change my life forever

Then the light of dawn came
and melted the snow in me
The sun smiled on me and i smiled
for i knew the light came from above.

For some it is like a storm,
Overturning everything in its path

For me it was like a drizzling rain,
Bathing the barren dry earth,

Moistening the very depths,
With a breeze caressing the face,
& a gracious fragrance filling the air,

Sky was blessed with a vibrant rainbow,
Displaying the colors of love,

That is how he came into my life,
And stays forever in my heart.

The wasted hours go by,
As I sit in the hole,
Peering at a small sky,
The walls are caving in,
As my heart bleeds,
Eyes dim to see light.

Once I lived in heaven,
Drinking the nectar of life,
Gracious was my heart,
Living in the light,
Was a blessing for me.

I see my both lives,
And ask the one above,
Why must I endure this?
“Like gold is tested in fire
So must you endure”- he said.
