Start The Change Process

Watch the above video clip on the story of an eagle. It is a story of change, a story of rebirth, a story of inspiration. Please play the 3 minute short video embedded on this page.

Story of Eagle Rebirth

The Eagle has the longest life-span of its species. It can live up to 70 years. But to reach this age, the eagle must make some tough decisions. In its 40th year, its long flexible talons can no longer grab prey which serves as food. Its long and sharp beak bends. Its old-aged and heavy wings, due to their thick feathers, stick to its chest and make it difficult to fly.

Then, the eagle is left with only two options: DIE or go through a painful process of CHANGE.

The process requires that the eagle fly to a mountain top and sit on its nest. There the eagle knocks its beak against a rock until it plucks it out. Then the eagle will wait for a new beak to grow until it plucks out the talons. When the new talons grow back, the eagle starts plucking its thick heavy feathers. And after 5 months, the eagle takes its famous flight of rebirth and lives for another 30 years.

Why is the change needed?

Change is needed to survive and live! We too have to start the change process. We also have to pluck our unpleasant memories, negative habits and fixed mindset. Only freed from the past burden, can we take advantage of the present. Let us soar again!

Play the ‘Marriage Song’ by Jerry Sulwer

Lyrics:

Man and Woman,
Coming together,
In Union with God,
As Husband and Wife!
Celebrating Marriage;
Oh Man and Woman,
God breathing in!
Blessings from above!
Woven into His Holy Union,
Ah Union forever!
You’re in love with one another
As God’s marvelous plan from Creation!

Coming together for good or for worse,
Faithful and committed for a life time!
Two hearts knit in perfect harmony,
For life, in sickness, in weakness, and failures!

For a love that won’t grow cold!
Hung out to dry!
When times get tough!
In times of confusion!

Prepare yourself for days of confusion!
Emotions flying high!
People, things, times, plans don’t go your way!
Turn this way, Turn that way,
Toss up, Toss Down!
Rewind, Reverse,
Slow down, Speed up,
Backward, Forward,
Sideways, Downward,
Slip up, Slip down
Fast forward!
Ah, Ah Ah Ah!

Blame him, blame her, blame the dog as all goes around!
In days like that remember to look to God!
Seek him, find her, remember Solomon teaches you,
In days like that remember to look to God!

Don’t feel sorry for yourself by going to your neighbour house for Advice…Either!
No No! Oh No!
Get your act together and get back with each other in 24 hours before it’s…Too late!
Yea yea! Oh Yea!
Do it before it’s too late and coldness sets in!
Remember our covenant made between all three of us that special day!
God in us!
Get on your knees and bow to the Living God,
And ask forgiveness and make up now!

Man and Woman,
Coming together,
In Union with God’s Son,
Husband and Wife!
Celebrating Marriage;
Oh Man and Woman,
God breathing into,
His Holy Nature,
Woven into… His Holy Union,
Ah Union with Him!
You’re in love with one another!
As God’s awesome plan from Creation Lives,
His life in Fullness, you and me Forever!

Srishtikale Stuthi Paaduvin – Malayalam Devotional Song

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Play the above malayalam christian devotional song ‘Srishtikale Stuthi Paaduvin’. It is an old devotional song but has really beautiful and meaningful lines. This one is my personal favorite and I am sure my malayali friends out there in the world would love this song.

The song calls out to all the creations in the world, calling them by their names, and urging them to praise and worship their almighty creator. It requests the skies, oceans, angels, hills, mountains, animals, birds and all the humans in the world to give praise to our GOD. Many of us, in our busy schedules, forget to give thanks and worship to our creator, who created us in this perfect form and who gave us all the necessities in life. This old mallu devotional song asks us to praise and worship our almighty God, together with the rest of HIS creations.
