This tune is by Donovan, a troubadour from the ’60s. This tune was in the film Brother Son, Sister Moon (director Franco Zeferreli- sp?) in, I think 1970 or ’71. This tune was in the scene when St Francis and St Claire were building the kirk outside of Assisi.
You can probably find a clip of that on YouTube.
When I married in ’82, the congregation our our kirk’s congregation sang this tune at our wedding ceremony.
