Christian-in-name-only Nation

Christian in name only nation

Is ours a Christian Nation, just because most people here are christians? Well, can we call all of us ‘True Christians’? NO! Then our nation is not a ‘Christian Nation’ its a ‘Christian-in-name-only Nation’…

Who is a True Christian?

A true Christian is a person who has put his or her faith and trust in the person of Jesus Christ and fact that He died on the cross as payment for sins and rose again on the third day to obtain victory over death and to give eternal life to all who believe in Him. John 1:12 tells us: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of God’s true family, and one who has been given new life in Christ. The mark of a true Christian is love for others and obedience to God’s Word (1 John 2:4; 1 John 2:10).

A true Christian will look, in faith, to God, realizing his total dependence on the Creator. He or she will demonstrate the fruits of God’s Holy Spirit and true Christianity through good works.

It is a fantastic privilege to be a Christian in this age, but one that requires dedication and carries heavy responsibility. The rewards are enormous for all those who choose to serve God and become true followers of Christ-Christians as defined in the Bible.

Making a point to children

Making a point to children

Making a point to children? Well, you got to be really careful.

You must understand that they may get only half of what you say to them or even nothing at all. Don’t go on babbling all the scientific or technical aspects on anything. Rather give advice to them friendly in the form of stories or real life incidents (which you may make up really fast) and say,” hey! Did u know what happened to Jim next door when he did like this?”. That will be perfect for the kids to digest than the above given advice…

I believe it because its Chinese

I believe because Its Chinese

Do you believe in superstitions? Well, a great majority does, I dunno why.

Some try to copy the beliefs or customs or superstitions of other successful countries, thinking that it will work for them. No way! They will ruin your spiritual life.

You must know that believing in superstitions and doing weird customs is against God’s first commandment,  – I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.”
